With the new Store design, categories are now required when creating a collectible.
They help fans, collectors, and curators easily find the types of work they love β and keep the Store organized for everyone.
Why Categories Matter
When you tag your collectible correctly, you:
Make your work easier to discover by collectors interested in that theme or style.
Help curators find your work for inclusion in Storefront sections like Best of DRiP or Fresh Finds.
Keep the Store clean and relevant for everyone browsing.
π‘ Example:
If your piece is a digital illustration, tag it as Illustration
If itβs created or assisted with AI tools, tag it as AI Art or AI Photography etc.
βοΈ One Main Category Rule
(as of Oct 9, 2025)
Each collectible can now have only one main category.
This ensures that every item appears in the most relevant section of the Store.
Youβll see an error message if you try to select more than one main category
(for example, Art and Photography)
Choose the single category that best represents your work.
Supporting or descriptive tags (like creator names, styles, or curation themes) can still be added.
β οΈ Proper Use of Categories
Categories are meant to describe your work accurately, not boost visibility.
Creators who repeatedly misuse or over-tag categories will be flagged for review.
If misuse occurs, the DRiP team may:
Unpublish your channel until collectibles are correctly categorized.
Restrict publishing access for continued misuse.
Permanently remove your channel for repeated or deliberate abuse.
These measures help maintain fairness and protect creators who use DRiP responsibly.
π€ Labeling AI Artwork Correctly
If your collectible was created or assisted with AI tools, it must be clearly labeled using AI-related categories.
Examples:
AI Illustration β for AI-generated or AI-assisted artwork.
AI Photography β for AI-generated or heavily AI-edited photo-style images.
Accurate labeling helps curators and collectors understand your creative process and ensures your work appears in the correct sections of the Store.
π§ Updating Older Collectibles
If your older collectibles were published before categories were added, they may not appear in the Store yet.
You can easily update them in Creator Studio:
Go to Creator Studio.
Open the Collection that contains your collectible.
Click the three dots (β¦) next to your collectible and select Edit.
Scroll to the Categories section and choose only one main category.
Save your changes.
β Once updated, your collectible will automatically appear in the correct Storefront section.
