For a more seamless experience with the DRiP dApp, this guide will show you how to import an existing wallet to JUP Mobile using your private key.
How to Import Your Wallet to the Jup Mobile App
We will show you how to import your existing wallet from a different app (like Solflare or Phantom) to the Jup Mobile app using your private key.
- Export Your Private Key from Your Current Wallet (e.g., Solflare)
- Open your wallet app (e.g., Solflare, Phantom).
- Navigate to your wallet's settings or account management section.
- Find the option to Export Private Key or Show Private Key.
- On Solflare: Tap your wallet's address name, select the wallet you want to move, swipe left on it, tap the pencil icon, scroll down, and select 'Export Private Key'.
- On Phantom: Go to Settings > Manage Accounts, select the account, and then select Show Private Key.
- Follow any security prompts (e.g., PIN, password, or biometrics) to reveal the key.
- Carefully copy the private key. This is a long string of characters. You must copy it precisely.
- Open the Jup Mobile App
- Launch the Jup Mobile application on your device.
- Initiate the Wallet Import Process
- If you haven't set up a wallet yet, you should see an option to "Import Wallet" or "I already have a wallet." Select this option.
- If you already have a wallet in the app, you may need to click the existing wallet profile > in the menu tab, click three dots at the top right > click the β+β symbol to add a new wallet > choose βImport Walletβ.
- Paste Your Private Key
- The app will provide a field for you to enter your private key or seed phrase.
- Carefully paste the private key you copied from your previous wallet. Double-check that there are no extra spaces or characters.
- Complete the Import
- Tap "Continue" or "Import".
- The Jup Mobile app will then import your wallet. You may be prompted to set a new password or PIN for the Jup app itself.
- Select "Explore Jupiter". Your wallet, with the same address and all its assets, should now be accessible within the Jup Mobile app.
Security Best Practices After Importing
Once your wallet is successfully imported, delete the copied private key from your clipboard and any digital notes.
NOTE: This powerful step gives you direct control to access your existing wallet on JUP Mobile and use the feature for best experience by using your private key, so we invite you to proceed with full awareness and trust in this application.
