Understanding the Approvals Process and Filter System
Why It Matters
DRiP is designed for adult users (18+), but collectibles and creator pages are often viewed publicly.
Our moderation process is focused around maintaining a safe, welcoming platform for general audiences and keeping public-facing content appropriate for all viewing contexts.
The Approvals Process
-
Submit for Review
After you enter your collectible details, click Submit for review.
-
Automatic Moderation
Our system runs an AI scan for potential Sensitive or NSFW content and returns one of three outcomes.
-
Results Flow
- Non-Sensitive → Automatically approved.
- Retries → If auto-moderation fails, you can retry up to five times.
- Manual Review → After five failed attempts, select Request Review.
- Support Hours Shown → When requesting a manual review, you’ll see our current Support Hours for clear expectations.
Manual Reviews are completed while the Support Team is online. Please keep our Support Hours in mind when submitting for manual verification!
What the Filters Mean
-
Sensitive
Used for content that may be unsettling or not ideal for open browsing (e.g., stylized violence, darker imagery). The work remains visible behind a click-through warning.
-
NSFW (Not Safe for Work)
Applied to sexual or heavily suggestive imagery — including depictions emphasizing sexual features or body focus, even when explicit parts are covered.
Sexual Content Guidelines
Following updated moderation policy, any collectible showing excessively sexualized or vulgar body emphasis must retain a filter, even when covered.
This ensures DRiP remains appropriate for public display and
Violence & Thematic Sensitivity
- Stylized or non-realistic violence → may remain visible or retain a Sensitive tag after review.
- Graphic violence, gore, or harm to animals → must remain under a Sensitive filter.
- Symbolic or artistic references → handled case-by-case.
Creators can always appeal or report inconsistencies for manual verification.
How to Appeal or Report
- Appeal your own flag: use Request Review in Studio.
-
Report others’ content: click the flag icon on any collectible and include details.
Support reviews during active Support Hours and follows up directly in-thread.

DRiP’s Role & Discretion
Moderation requires human judgment. Final decisions rest with DRiP’s moderation team under the Creator Content Policy and Terms of Service, which allow removal or restriction of any content deemed obscene, harmful, or objectionable.
When we are not sure, we choose the safer option to keep DRiP a trusted and responsible place for creativity.
For Creators
- Filters don’t remove your work — they simply add a click-through for viewer choice.
- Use Request Review when you think the system got it wrong.
-
Report inconsistencies so we can keep moderation fair and aligned.
Summary
DRiP’s NSFW and Sensitive filters are safeguards that keep the experience consistent and accessible across public channels while still empowering creative freedom.
Creators remain free to express themselves; the filters simply help manage how that content appears in shared spaces.
